Uncle Jason Came To Visit!!!
Jason came to visit us on the 28th after he stopped at Jim and Jaena's and before he went Rhodas. It took A.J. about 45 minutes to warm up to his uncle but after that I was allowed to put him down. Alex and Aaron enjoyed wrestling with uncle Jason and then playing Deal or No Deal on the dvd player. It was a great visit even though it only lasted a few hours.
P.s. i finally got stamps, so christmas cards and pictures are finally in the mail!! Sorry they are so late!!!!!

Uncle or no, Jason probably seems like a stranger to A.J. Little people should be given a sixth sense to distinguish relatives from strangers. I remember one Christmas I enjoyed playing with Rhoda and Jason, but Jim just sat on my lap and cried. He wasn't "fun" until I started visiting you guys in Atlanta.
I agree with you Aunt Char they should have something to help exspecially since we are so far away from everyone. Maddie turned one yesterday and I feel like the worst Aunt in the world because I still have yet to meet her in person just in the pictures that Jim and Jaena post. Hope all is well. Love to the Derbys!!

awww...you are NOT a bads aunt, Renee. We are bad parent who do not find a way to get our children to meet their family.
We are totally up for a big gathering in a central location this summer...how about Marion?! ;) Seriously, I think it is about 2-5 hours for most of you (except us), and we will help organize and cook food.
We think we can work it out for everyone to stay at our district campground or maybe IWU. Still have to check on some of the details.

Jim and Jaena I will be more then willing to get together in Marion this summer. We just have to plan it early enough so that Scott can get the time off. Love Y'all

Oh, oh, it sounds like Jaena is starting to make plans. I was thinking say on the IWU campus - give each family a suite room, or something like that. Don't know what they'd have available, though.
Suggestion for password - make sure caps lock isn't on. I couldn't get in yesterday and was sure a terrorist had taken over my site - but I had caps lock on.
cap locks being on is a good possiblity since A.J. likes to push buttons on the keyboard whenever he gets a chance.

O.K., they were cute at Christmas, but they're probably even cuter today! Go find that camera!
